Create NowLos Angeles, California – No More Poverty (nmp.org) is a supporter of Create Now, a creative arts mentoring organization for Southern California youth. NMP co-founders, Michael Omidi, MD and Julian Omidi, believe in the efficacy of Create Now programs, which transform the lives of high-risk and at-risk youth through creative arts mentoring, education, resources, and opportunities.

“The youth served by Create Now come from poverty-stricken families with histories of violence, substance abuse, and neglect,” says Julian Omidi, No More Poverty’s co-founder. “Operating here in our own backyard, their diverse offerings have helped thousands of vulnerable children, young men and women heal and transform their lives. Michael and I are delighted to support Create Now and help extend its reach.”

During 16 years of service, Create Now (createnow.org) has served more than 30,000 of the neediest youth in Southern California. The organization works with vulnerable kids and young adults ages 2-25 who have been abused, neglected, abandoned, orphaned, or incarcerated. Its creative arts programs allow participants to heal and explore their unique creative self-expression and passions. Create Now also helps connect kids with available jobs, internships, scholarships, and free resources.
