Omidi Brothers, Michael Omidi & Julian Omidi, are accepting nominations for charities effectively helping the impoverished in the US and the world through No More Poverty (nmp.org).
Since its founding eight weeks ago, No More Poverty (nmp.org) and its co-founders, Michael Omidi and Julian Omidi, have made contributions to support several meaningful charities. Co-founder, Julian Omidi expressed, “Please nominate your favorite charities for support and promotion who are effectively helping others. Let us know how your charity is fighting the war against poverty. Suggestions for worthy charities can be made on the web, at nmp.org or on Facebook/nmp.org.”
As an example, some of the charities that No More Poverty has supported:
- Love in the Mirror (http://www.loveinthemirror.org) and its 9 year-old founder Jonas Corona who strive to inspire other young people to make a difference through their volunteer commitment.
- The Portland Hoop Kings, an inner city youth basketball program using competitive athletics as a motivational vehicle to prepare young men for the ultimate game of life..
- Simone’s Kids (simoneskids.com) which is doing tremendous work for the children and families in Uganda, by helping provide proper nutrition, housing, and education.
And earlier this week, the Omidis introduced a new Facebook campaign to help promote charity awareness with No More Poverty’s Charity of the Week promotion. For every person who “Likes” No More Poverty’s page on Facebook® this week, the Omidi brothers will donate one dollar to the Charity of the Week featured on its website, nmp.org.
