Playing For Change Foundation appreciates No More Poverty and co-founders Michael Omidi and Julian Omidi for their support of Playing for Change Day 2012.

Playing For Change is singing the praises of No More Poverty and its co-founders, Michael Omidi, M.D. and Julian Omidi, and is pleased to count them among their global partners for change. Playing For Change Day, which took place September 22, 2012, provided an unique opportunity to advance Playing For Change’s mission of fostering connections through music and encouraging social change. 270 events were scheduled in 46 countries on six continents around the globe. Musicians performed on stages, street corners, at schools, yoga studios, and cafes bringing music into the lives of children and promoting positive social change everywhere.

“Playing For Change Day was an opportunity for everyone to get involved and become a part of our global community,” says Shauna Murray, Director of Communications and Special Events for Playing For Change Foundation. “No More Poverty’s support contributes to a positive vibration that connects and inspires us all. Thank you!”
