Urban Community Outreach is now receiving support from No More Poverty cofounders, Dr. Michael Omidi, and his brother, Julian Omidi. The organization’s Drop-in-Center serves the homeless and those in need of temporary refuge, food, and assistance with stabilizing and improving their lives.
No More Poverty is a new supporter of Urban Community Outreach which runs a Drop-in-Center for homeless people and the working poor that provides a haven from the weather and the harsh conditions of the streets and offers services to improve their quality of life.

Urban Community Outreach (http://www.urbancommunityoutreach.org) provides the Long Beach, California homeless community with safe and clean temporary shelter, meals, and nursing care. Additionally, the Drop-in-Center offers computer lab services with internet access; camping supplies so that people surviving on the streets may have the basic necessities; access to scanners so that important documents can be saved in personal email; and clothing and personal care and hygiene items.
No More Poverty (http://www.nmp.org) is a not-for-profit charity organization (with a pending 501(c)3 application) founded by brothers, Dr. Michael Omidi and Julian Omidi . The organization seeks to end poverty at home and abroad by supporting the efforts of like-minded charities and agencies. Current efforts are focused on increasing awareness of and donations to charities already doing great work to address poverty and its staggering effects throughout the world. The plan is to expand our activities to include fostering business development and job creation in disenfranchised areas.
