No More Poverty and its cofounders, Dr. Michael Omidi and Julian Omidi, are supporting the Child & Family Center, a nonprofit that helps children and families access needed educational, behavioral, and health services.
The Omidi brothers and their charity, No More Poverty, announce their sponsorship of the Child & Family Center, which provides aid to troubled families and children in need of mental health, behavioral, or substance abuse resources. The Santa Clarita-based Center helps nearly 6,000 children and adults annually, providing preschool services, in-home intervention services, substance abuse recovery programs, 24-hour crisis intervention and counseling services, employment and housing assistance, and transportation services.

The Child & Family Center (http://www.childfamilycenter.org) was founded in 1976 to teach young parents how to care for special needs children. As the years progressed and the need for resources for behaviorally disordered children grew in Santa Clarita, the Child & Family Center expanded its services to include juvenile delinquency prevention, drug and alcohol prevention, and a charter school with onsite therapists. Today, the Center offers both inpatient and outpatient services and a variety of programs designed to help clients with drug and alcohol addiction, domestic violence, emotional disorders, and child abuse.
No More Poverty (http://www.nmp.org) is a not-for-profit charity organization (with a pending 501(c)3 application) founded by brothers, Michael Omidi, M.D. and Julian Omidi. The organization seeks to end poverty at home and abroad by supporting the efforts of like-minded charities and agencies. Current efforts are focused on increasing awareness of and donations to charities already doing great work to address poverty and its staggering effects throughout the world.
