About Simone’s Kids: Simone’s Kids was founded in 2010 by twenty year old Simone Plimpton who was moved by the poverty and devastation faced by the Ugandan people. Today, Simone’s Kids operates a school in the Ugandan town of Nakaske and is raising funds to build an orphanage and private school. Future plans include the construction of family homes, the establishment of a medical clinic, and development of children’s sports programs.
